I began looking at alcohol distribution laws in Kansas, where some counties are dry (alcohol sale is illegal) and some are wet (alcohol sale is legal). I became very interested in the invisible line which separates these two areas. I looked to other instances of this occurring such as the border of Colorado and Kansas. Colorado legalized marijuana in 2013 and therefor there are people smuggling marijuana across the border to Kansas to be distributed throughout the U.S. In response, I created an animation which examines these invisible boundaries. In this case the build-up of signs at the border creates a narrative defining the experience of moving between these two places.
